2008 Florida Council Award Applications

  

As  you are aware the 2008 Florida Council Meeting is early this year and will be Setpember 5-6 in Orlando.  The Florida Award applications as well s the CWC  application, Nicky Heidler Award and Kay Cooper Scholarship have now been posted to the Florida Council Website www.naiwfl.org

Remember, Insurance Professional of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Claims Professional of the year applications are directly from the NAIW Comprehensive Manual and indicated deadline dates for Regional and National.  Please disregard these dates.  The deadline date date for all Florida awards is August 1, 2008 and it will be strictly enforced (deadline date for CWC is August 10th 2008).  Applications received after the deadline dates will not be considered.  Please make certain all applications are directed to the email address shown on the applications in order to avoid delays.
 
These awards are for you the members; we would like to see many applicants.  Please gather your information and get your applications in as soon as possible.

CIC Scholarship Available for NAIW members

 

Last year Pamela Voigt, PIAM, CPSR, CPIW of the Insurance Professionals of Greater Orlando won the 2007 Kay Cooper Memorial CIC Scholarship, entitling her to attend all five CIC topics tuition-free.

PIA is now gearing up for the 2008 Kay Cooper Scholarship.  You can access the application at www.naiwfl.org. It is also available via a link on the PIA Awards page.

The deadline for applications is August 1st, and the scholarship will be presented at the NAIW annual meeting September 5-6 in Orlando, but you don’t have to be present to win.

Any active NAIW member who has never attended a CIC institute is eligible.  Winning the Kay Cooper Scholarship provides you with an excellent professional development opportunity, and we encourage all eligible NAIW-FL members to apply.
